The Baking Diary: Fig and Almond Cake

Super moist and delicious with layers of figs and a dollop of cream cheese icing ....yumm!

Dear Baking Diary . . .

". . . in an autumn morn, they woke to the sweet scones, those British quick breads . . . "

". . . the crisp air that blew from across the street, brought a "velvety rich aroma of that moist cake drizzled in syrup . . ."

". . . she could never forget the scent of those vanilla pods brought back from Madagascar . . . "
