The Baking Diary: Summer Days

Pictures are more talkative than me today! Turquoise and orange colour comboination is probably not everyones taste, but it is one of my favourite and inspired by the colours of Moochi dresses.

Dear Baking Diary . . .

"Oh, let us eat cake! . . . that's what Napoplean ordered long before I was born. . . "

". . . those rich dark sugar canes from Mauritius must be used! well, all sugars are just not the same! . . "

". . . sugar and spice and perhaps all things nice . . ."

". . . she gazed over the cupcakes, with sugar crafted roses on them and she chose carefully, the one with a purple rose . . . "

". . . in an autumn morn, they woke to the sweet scones, those British quick breads . . . "

". . . the crisp air that blew from across the street, brought a "velvety rich aroma of that moist cake drizzled in syrup . . ."

". . . she could never forget the scent of those vanilla pods brought back from Madagascar . . . "
